The fine print — clear and simple

Please read these Terms carefully. By requesting a quote, making a booking, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

1. About these Terms

These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) apply to the services of Avylion (“Avylion”, “we”, “us”, “our”), an Australian travel company. They form the basis of your contract with us when you request a quote, make a booking, or use our website.

2. Quotes & bookings

  • Quotes are indicative and subject to availability until confirmed in writing.
  • Your booking is confirmed when we issue a written confirmation and receive any required deposit.
  • Names must match passports exactly; you are responsible for providing accurate information.

3. Prices, deposits & payment

  • Prices are shown in AUD unless stated otherwise and may change due to supplier adjustments, taxes, or exchange rates before full payment.
  • A deposit may be required to secure services; the balance is due by the date shown on your invoice.
  • Failure to pay on time may result in cancellation fees as set out below.

4. Changes & cancellations

  • Your changes: We’ll try to accommodate amendments; change fees may apply in addition to any supplier charges.
  • Your cancellations: Cancellation fees vary by supplier and timing. Some services may be non-refundable.
  • Our changes: If a significant change is necessary, we will offer an alternative of comparable value where possible or a refund of our own fees for affected services we directly control.

5. Third-party suppliers

We act as an agent for airlines, hotels, tour operators, transfer providers, and other suppliers. Your contract for those services is with the relevant supplier and subject to their terms and conditions. We are not a common carrier and are not responsible for supplier acts or omissions.

6. Passports, visas & health

  • You are responsible for valid travel documents, visas, and permits for your itinerary.
  • Check health, vaccination, and COVID-19 requirements for all destinations and transit points.
  • We can provide general guidance but do not guarantee entry or health clearance.

7. Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended at the time of booking to cover cancellations, medical expenses, personal effects, and other risks.

8. Liability & force majeure

  • To the extent permitted by law, our liability arising out of or in connection with our services is limited to the amount of fees paid to us for the affected services.
  • We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for acts/omissions of third-party suppliers.
  • Force majeure: We are not responsible for events beyond our reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, strikes, pandemics, government actions). Additional costs are your responsibility; we’ll assist with re-arrangements where possible.

9. Behaviour & special requests

  • You must not engage in unlawful, unsafe, or disruptive conduct. Suppliers may refuse service in such cases without refund.
  • We’ll pass on reasonable special requests (e.g., accessibility, dietary) but cannot guarantee fulfilment.

10. Website terms & intellectual property

  • Website content is provided in good faith and may change without notice. We do not guarantee accuracy or availability at all times.
  • All content (text, imagery, branding) is owned by or licensed to Avylion. You may not copy or reuse it without permission.
  • Links to third-party sites are provided for convenience; we are not responsible for their content or practices.

11. Privacy

We handle personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Queensland.
